SRS lets forwarders, independant of anyone else doing anything, from
having forwarded email fail SPF checks.

These are two slightly different problems and it is reasonable to have
two slightly different solutions. I have long advocated using both.

Would you then recommend *not* rewriting SES sender addresses on
SRS hosts? Because if an SRS host rewrites SES senders too, it
denies the final recipient to do a more end-to-end verification
that might validate even the association between content and sender,
as well as the sender username in addition to the sender domain, which
SES offers, if I got things right.

Kind regards,

Hannah.
