Djbdns is free
No. If you say it is, find me the licence which says it is. (By
default, software is non-free, the author has to allow a free use.)
and isn't a broken software as far as I know?
The author views the RFCs as divided in two sets: those he personally
approve and which are implemented and those he personally dislike and
they are ignored. Read http://cr.yp.to/djbdns/ and compare the number
of documents about technical issues with the number of flaming
documents against the whole world.
PS: what is written at http://cr.yp.to/djbdns/dot-fr.html is pure
BS. We never had such a rule and djb is not even able to use the
proper IP address of b.root-servers.net.
Qmail writer wrote the software and we all know how amazing qmail is :)
Same remark for qmail.
