Its like saying; you take medicine (SPF) to address your depression
(SPAM),
but now you have erection problems (Forwarding) and hope your wife won't
notice (final MDA)! To fix this problem, you take viagra (SRS).

That is cute, and going in circles, but one more for the road:

If the source or contributing factor of your depression (SPAM) is your
pre-existing condition of erectile dysfunction (Forwarding), then your
medecine (SPF) is treating the symptom of depression (SPAM) without
addressing at least one of the underlying causes of the disease
(Forwarding). And its bad medecine to treat the symptoms only and not
treat the underlying disease.

I think roger answered that one :-)

The ability to forward with/without re-addressing to me is re-injection.
That is where our opinions differ.

Our opinions only differ from the standpoint something new was introduced to
address one issue but at the same time not all the i's were dotted and t's
crossed.

I think I said a few times one way or another that if it was me, the SPF
docs would of been different, much more technical minded with all the
considerations that need to be done. Yet sometimes when you do look at all
the issues and all the considerations, it can become daunting, so much, that
you don't complete the job.

SPF is one of those things that concentrated on a key aspect of the system
and hoped everything else will naturally follow.

The same issue is with CSV, SENDERID/PRA or anything else. It will work too
between two points but will have issues (not necessary the two points) in
regards to all the other interface points.

What does that really mean?

It means what does the SPF specification "update" in relationship to other
RFC specificaitons in other to make it work right?

Does it update RFC 2821?
Does it update RFC 2822?

Other?

So overall, does SPF have "forwarding issues" or more appropiate,
"Transition Point" issues?

Clearly I can't say no. I have to say yes, because by itself adding it may
cause new issues you didn't have before.

Are there other things to help reduce this?

Yes. but that doesn't take away from the basic question above.
