Should we send out an announcement? (I think not, it is *very* old
news.)
I've seen quite a few questions like "Does nothing happen on SPF? The latest
news is over a year ago" and "Is SPF dead? Nothing happened for more than a
year?"
I'd say changing the website is a very important step. Forget about
"no news is good news". No news is just that: nothing. If SPF is
stable enough to generate no news then that's news in itself.
Mention that there's nothing to mention. And updating the site is a
perfect opportunity for that.
