I wish it were that simple. Too many (braindead) DNS servers timeout
when presented with a type99 query. The obvious algorithm of checking
type99 first, then check TXT if not found is unworkable thanks to these
antisocial beasts.
It might be useful to keep a cache of which DNS servers are braindead
(timeout on type99).
