Ack. The thread was broken, and I hadn't seen that answer yet.
It isn't obvious, as you can see from Stuart's reply to mine.
It does also mean that *if* you are going to query both kinds,
and if you do so in parallel, you really ought to wait for the SPF
type query to timeout before deciding to use the TXT type answer.
