At base, quoted-printable is supposed to be used for text-like stuff. As

The biggest problem I have with "pleasantly" formatting quoted-printable is
the absolute 76-character line limit. There's just no way to pleasantly
format a line that is just over 76 characters long. Or that is under 76
characters and gets expanded by quoting special characters.
If the quoted-printable is the only line-oriented convention at work, it
may not be so bad; you just break the lines when you want to. But if
you're already working with line-oriented text, it's not so easy.
How does one pleasantly format mail consisting largely of 76+ character
lines using quoted-printable? Is wrapping it at 38 the way to go?
