ability to 'read' made.
that sounds perposterous (sp et al), howeever, it offers a
fundamental premise. a certain level of 'experience' is required to use
the offerings of the internet. those of us with visual 'handicaps' do
what has to be done, to get done, what needs doing. others of us, may
not have the 'abiilty' or 'willingness' to do that.
now, 'mandating' a standards 'change' for the benefit of a miniscule
population, who may not even benefit from it, is not a prudent design
decision. in my opinion, any change in standards is going to offer
minimal long term benefits ...
