AND IF you have already sent the spammer in question an explicit
request to stop spamming you and/or your server(s) and/or your
domain(s) and WHEN AND IF the spammers has then igored that re-
quest, and continued to spam you.
(Of course, what this degenerates into, in practice, is a kind of
``opt out'' system. The only good news here is that you may, via
such formal ``cease and desist'' notices, opt-out entire domains...
which is more than any spammer is normally willing to let you do.)
