Since I've been one of the more vocal people here about spam, I
guess I should volunteer to collect some more statistics. I'll put
out a call for self-reporting of stats, or a poll, later in the week.

Here's an area where I think SpamCon Foundation can be of help. SpamCon
Foundation, one person's observations notwithstanding, is not a
"commercial non-profit organization, as opposed to CAUCE". SpamCon and
CAUCE do different things by design. In fact, CAUCE and SCF share many
participants because of that.

On behalf of SpamCon Foundation, we'd be happy to commission a project
to develop exactly the type of data ASRG needs to get things going. But
to do that, this group is going to have to start developing a list of
actual needs.

First, can this group agree as to what type of report *would* be helpful
in the group fulfilling its mission? Alan, you seem to have started that
list. Some more detail behind the desire (such as exactly what stats for
spam emanating from certain points) would be nice.

- Size?
- Content?
- Routes/Paths through the network?
- Sender/Receipient/Ultimate beneficiaries?

What of the other hundreds, if not thousands, of delimiting factors?
