  On the other hand, if your MTA *MERELY PRETENDS* to open a connection
(i.e. send back SYN-ACK without actually opening a connection) most
spammers will pipeline everything else through without waiting for
further responses.  They *HAVE* to do this to protect against
teergrubes.
