Didn't sound very arbitrary to me; it sounded like the list following
its advertised critiera exactly.

objecting to from OUR specific compamy, and only just says "well,
it's probably this... or maybe that..."
As is their right; you are not their user. (The entity blocking the
mail on their advice is.) That they are willing to talk to you *at
all* is because they're good people.
The bottom line is that DESIGNING IN additional INTRINSICALLY FLAWED
mechanisms like this, as we have been talking about here, is
TECHNICALLY IRRESPONSIBLE.
You keep repeating that these mechanisms are INTRINSICALLY FLAWED, as
though repetition of that assertion would somehow convince us of its
truth. You'll need more than repeated assertion to do that.
Besides, flawed or not, it's about the best we've got. If you think
you can do better, build it and try it! If you're right, I'm sure a
lot of people will be delighted.
The fact that the present way of handling this is screwed up is NOT a
good reason why every company in the world ought to be forced to work
around such issues.
You're right, it's not. That it's overall the best way we have at
present, that is, or at least much closer to.
