Actually, in both cases, most MUAs will show:

From John Doe

It's the same thing it'll show if this is the From: line

   From: John Doe <boris(_at_)phishphest(_dot_)ru>

And likewise with
      From: Ebay Customer Services <services(_at_)ebay(_dot_)ru>

With "helpful" MUAs that do such stupid things, we hardly need DKIM at all  
:-( .
