Oh I think I finally see what is going on here.  You are an administrator!!
I thought this mailing list was for SMTP developers?  If not, then I am
wrong. Sorry. Different mindsets.

If it helps, you have no clue to how we develop or share intelligence.
That's proprietary information.  But its not big secret for developers,
smart learning and caching.    You can try a lookup for a first time entry
and if it fails to return SPF info, you have a decision to make.  I've leave
that for food for thought.

things that really should be in the DNS:
