It would seem that you are 20+ years too late.  Just what color are
the Frogstar fighters in your universe, anyway? 
I have never had the impression that DNS was a mandatory layer in the
protocol stack.  Applications can and do exchange IP addresses, for very
good reasons.  DNS is just another application among many that do that.
