agent will do the right thing with the List-Post: header and offer you the
choice of "replying" to the individual or "posting" to the list.

If the individual wants replies to go to the list, that's up to him at the
time he sends the message, and not up to the list software at the time it
forwards the message.

There is considerable disagreement over whether it's better for the list
software to ignore this division of responsibility and therefore attempt
to compensate for poor user agents and careless users.  There is also
disagreement about the appropriate compensation mechanisms.  This debate
has been carried out repeatedly on practically every mailing list that
ever existed, and it is not useful to repeat it again here.
