Will you guys stop reinventing the wheel, please? We went
through all this stuff years ago on this list. The solutions
offered were good, they're time-tested, and they still work.
If you don't like the code I offered a bit ago today here,
fine; just consult the list archives, and you'll find lots
of that old, good stuff.
dman, et.al.:
I'm all for not inventing anything - out of my ability <smile>.
I am attempting to use the virussnag recipe's. I was especially
carefull to capture tabs and spaces properly. I think I got that
right. I implemented it and it seems to be processing OK except I do
get one complaint about a close brace in my log file (verbose on
ofcourse)
<smip>
"rocmail: No match on "> 50000
"rocmail: No match on "^Content-Type:(.*\<)?(audio/x-|application)
procmail: Closing brace unexpected
"rocmail: Skipped "
"rocmail: Skipped "
<snip>
I looked a the recipe and the braces appear to match. I didn't edit
it in any way. Is this
a) normal, nothing to worry about
b) something I did wrong?
if b: can you make an educated guess as to what it was and how to
fix?
c) something that is wrong with recipe?
I am calling the virussnag as a file using includerc in my procmailrc
as it instructs. I dont' see the brace error in the log when I
comment out that call. I did this to try to insure it wasn't
something I had done in my procmailrc file as far as I can see anyway.
Thanks very much for the help guys.
Scott
