Will you guys stop reinventing the wheel, please? We went
through all this stuff years ago on this list. The solutions
offered were good, they're time-tested, and they still work.
If you don't like the code I offered a bit ago today here,
fine; just consult the list archives, and you'll find lots
of that old, good stuff.

Dallman,

I tried http://www.spamless.us/pub/procmail/virussnag and it
seems to miss the latest MSFT hoax virus. That's a fairly complicated script,
and isn't easy to parse through.

Complicated? I know of maybe one or two people who write procmail as
cleanly as Dallman. There are only 4 recipes in that file, the rest
are comments and variable assignments. You're not likely to find
anything as useful in so a brief file.

There are many other useful pages, though. John Conover has a nice one
at:

    http://www.johncon.com/john/archive/quarantine.outlook.attachments.txt

which has been posted to this list many times and is effective. The
Sanitizer (now that's a complicated procmail setup) is also effective:

    http://www.impsec.org/email-tools/procmail-security.html

Please consider Dallman's request; there's way too much traffic
flowing on the list that's been answered dozens of times. The archives
have a lot of cruft in them, yes, but once you've searched them twice
you'll quickly spot those who on the list have good answers and those
who on the list just cause confusion. Most of the regular posters can
(and should) be trusted to give good advice.
