I was just going with what *I* know. I have seen discussions where SA
is run on *Windows*.
Some folks run spamd under Cygwin. There is a native Windows port that
looks to be about done (using Active Perl, I think).
There are commercial spam filters that run on Windows and use SA as their
internal engine. McAfee acquired the compnay (Deersoft) that developed it
as I recall.
(spamassassin can be slow. And sorting through 300 messages a day
(manually) can also be slow. <g>)
