With an attitude like that, how is the poor vz customer, and I'm a vz

Complain. A LOT. Get your friends to complain. If you are in a
monopoly area, comlain to the PUC (Public Utilities Commision) and
write letters (real paper snail mail letters) and send copies to your
local media outlets. Start www.verizonsuckdogballs.com and setup a
forum for people to vent. Direct the media to that forum.
There's lots you CAN do.
I don't live in a Veriscum monopoloy area, so I simply will not have
anything to do with them. I've talked at least a dozen people here
out of Verizon cell phone just based on their email blocking. "How
can you know you'll get all your calls if you aren't getting all your
email?" usually does it. Sure, it's FUD, but I'm not above a little
FUD for Verizon's sake.

And I just don't care what happens next / looks like freedom but it
feels like death / it's something in between, I guess
