But of course you aren't blaming the anti-spam measures for that; you
are correctly blaming the fact that there is spam in the first place.
And there is another aspect to the spam problem. People could use it
as an excuse, too. For example my Slashdot signature has:
"The check's in the mail." - "The dog ate my homework." - "The spam filter must
have deleted it."
