A significant stakeholder is in favour of using an XML encoding for SPF.
Is this "significant stakeholder" willing to come to the mailing list
and participate in an open dialog? If not, why not?
If they are not willing to identify themselves, perhaps they can at least say
why this would be important. Unless they're pulling RAMBUS and silently
patenting things as they direct the standard.
It would really help if someone would provide a business case for the request.
It could then be validated on its own merit rather than a prophesy of
usefulness.
