By this you mean which?

1. "I do not believe there was a merger agreement. Instead I believe Meng was lying."

2. "I believe there was a merger agreement, but that Meng actually got MS to agree to publish using SPF1. I believe that they haven't done as agreed and also that Meng lied about it later."

3. "I trusted Meng to NOT make such an agreement, as would allow a merger and not require MS to publish our records. I feel Meng let me down. Instead of saying so in those words, I will use the somewhat misleading phrase 'I can't believe X' about the agreement, to show my disappointment, because couching it in those terms allows me to express my feelings without owning up to my personal choice to feel that way."
