I beg to differ.

Here http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/utf8.html#glass is a sampler, showing a
test phrase phrase in more than 100 languages and dialects, including Russian
(and 5 other Cyrillic-based languages ), Korean and two Chinese scripts..

The only unsupported scripts which The Unicode Consortium admit to are:
Balinese
Javanese
Manipuri (Meithei, Kanglei)
Moso (Naxi)
N'ko (Mandekan)
New Tai Lue
Pahawh Hmong
Rong (Lepcha)
Siloti Nagri (Syloti Nagri)
Tai Mau
Tifinagh (Berber)

(From http://www.unicode.org/standard/unsupported.html ).

Of course not every browser / MUA may be up-to-date with all the glyphs - but
that's not a UTF-8 restriction.

I stand corrected.

Still, it'd be a shame not to be able to put my exp in siloti nagri
though :)
