Our domain is grenoble.cnrs.fr (147.173.x.x) and we wish to secure our
mails exchanges.
So for testing purpose, the following TXT record was added on our DNS:
grenoble.cnrs.fr IN TXT "v=spf1 a -all"
This currently doesn't show outside...
[michel(_at_)totor michel]$ host -t txt cnrs.fr
[michel(_at_)totor michel]$ host -t txt grenoble.cnrs.fr
[michel(_at_)totor michel]$ host -t txt labs.grenoble.cnrs.fr
[michel(_at_)totor michel]$ host -t txt vigie.grenoble.cnrs.fr
(no txt record was found for any of these)
BTW, I would _love_ to see SPF records for cnrs.fr
This: http://spftools.infinitepenguins.net/register.php shows that the .fr TLD
is in a very poor position regarding SPF-enabled domains, yep, we come as #36
with only 32 known SPF domains...
.de comes #5 with 2126 domains, .uk comes #7 with 463 domains.
France is far behind, with .hu, .gr, .cx, .lu, .nu, .cz being ahead of us. I'm
afraid that our national pride should suffer from this ;-)
Happily enough, a high proportion of "french" domains actually
use .com/.net/.org TLDs, the .fr TLD being such a bureaucratic paperwork
expensive headache (I'm just going to make new friends with such comments ;-)
