When you receive an email from "mr(_dot_)smith(_at_)irs(_dot_)gov", and it
SPF PASSes,
you
need to know whether or not 'irs.gov' is indeed the IRS. Reputation
services can't tell you that. Accreditation services can.
A domain claiming to be something it isn't and pumping out loads of mail
will get the worst reputation in no time flat ;-) So - Yes - reputation is
almost as good as accreditation, and is better because accreditation doesn't
tell you if the mail is spam - reputation will.
