Also... is this sendmail running on NT or some other M$ OS? IIRc it is.
If so I would have thought that recognizing that sendmail was not native
to the platform (eg. it was ported) might have caused me to make a
cursory investigation. This thought is in no way intended as a dig
against you... it's simply something I probably would have done myself
but, admittedly, I have been an admin for almost 20 years now and done
serious mail work for at least 15 years of that.
