oh, come on, thunderbird does diddly squat by itself! what extension did you download and install that some daft coder has implemented SPF the wrong way? (and how hard is it to "accidentally" implement SPF the wrong way?)

Subject: [spf-discuss] I told you so (Thunderbird stupidity)

Hey all,

Thunderbird is now rejecting all emails from SPF-Enabled domains when
envelope re-writing has been performed (or more specifically, it's
violating both SPF and SenderID standards, and performing SPF against
the "From:" header, while ignoring SenderID completely)

Given that this is the same email client who's bayesian filters put
all emails with the mention of SPF in their headers directly into the
trash, I'm
A) Not surprised
B) Wondering if they're not deliberately trying to scuttle SPF?

Kind Regards,
Chris Drake
