SPF Council would like request that SPF Community provide better

it before) clearly show their opinion on this issue and indicate
appropriate action (if any) that should be taken.
It is probably unwise from a political point of view but this is
how I think about such matters:
- Every effort should be (or: have been) made to resolve this issue
with microsoft. Once the council knows how to get around the thick
headed people, maybe with a bit of luck some sane people can be reached?
- The abuse of records is or is not a problem. It does not become less
of a problem when SPF publication is delayed by another six months as
a result of mentioning the problem.
- A delay in SPF publication is unfortunate but, if necessary, cannot
be avoided
So, the real question is: Does MS's incompetence become a real problem
or not. If we think it is a problem, appeal. If we think this will
delay SPF publication, I say "so what".
Personally, right now, I think MS should just be ignored. This may
change (like any opinion).
