Think about it, there is a relationship between free-speech and
anonymity.
The freest speech is the cryptographically protected anonymous kind
because the speaker knows there can be no physical world reprisals.
If I sign something I am less anonymous, and probably not anonymous at
all; therefore yes my speech becomes less free.
There are physical world analogies with the right for anonymous
political speech, leafletting etc.
