I don't think there is a consensus on what a 3rd party signature is.
ADSP has a definition that is, I think, pretty clear.
The problem is that that definition does not synchronize with many people's
expectations of the term, and especially its usage in other circumstances.
We could, I suppose, write an ADSP erratum that redefines its usage. I've no
idea whether that would be worth the effort.
