I'm curious of the reasons too, I see some data points, but cannot
conclude any statistics...
May be from the people who do statistics on DKIM, do you see a fair
percentage of DKIM signed sub-domains?
I'm happy to search our data if you can describe what I'm looking for. If
you're referring to a comparison between "d=" and "i=" values, we do that
already:

(The anchor tag in the current report has a typo, so if you go before the next
update, you'll need to search for "i=" yourself.)
If you mean something else, describe for me what you're looking for and I'll
give it a go.
