Re: [ietf-smtp] Dombox - A Zero Spam Mail System

An approach somewhat more constructive than the above link is John's old
wiki:
https://wiki.asrg.sp.am/wiki

Thanks for linking to that page.

The page says "Many people have invented many anti-spam techniques over the
past decade. And a lot of the techniques keep being reinvented. Our goal
here is to list all the anti-spam techniques we know, both the good ones
and the bad ones.".

I think this is an excellent resource which I have never seen before. The
page doesn't mock anyone. John Levine did an excellent job in documenting
that wiki. He even documented info like Date of first use, Effectiveness,
Popularity, Difficulty of implementation, Where implemented, Harm etc. I
think this is the kind of resource every spam researcher should read.

If you have a new technique, a concise, crispy description of just how it
differs from the ones already described would be more acceptable than a
300-page whitepaper.

I did publish a summary of my work here
<https://medium.com/@Viruthagiri/dombox-the-zero-spam-mail-system-2b08ff7432cd>.
I had to omit lot of stuffs to even write that blog post. For example, I
didn't write much about stuffs related to "Sign In With Apple" button.
"Sign In With Apple" button is inspired from my "Chapter 10: Teleport" and
"Chapter 11: Data". My paper even contains an idea for "One-Click
Newsletter subscription service" which is similar to "Facebook Like" button
you see on websites but for "email newsletters" [Chapter 12: Telescribe].
And my paper brings an idea called "Mail Score" to bring transparency
between the sender and receiver [Chapter 7: Mail Score]. So my white paper
is a collection of ideas. The medium blog post summary only focuses on the
broader level overview of my system.

The idea of providing my white paper along with the summary is that, I'm
just hoping at least one person who read my medium blog post summary would
also go through my paper till the end and the leave an unbiased opinion
about my work.
