Montreal had that problem as well, and much more accute than Orlando.
I recall Orlando had no convenient bar.

That isn't the point. The point is that the hotel bar provides the
*defacto* point to have ad-hoc meetings. I.e. ones where two people just
bump into each other and start chatting.
