the effort is nascent. the specifications have only just been released.
while promising, there is still quite a bit more hope than hard
knowledge about its efficacy.
also, while john's 'soon' is not unreasonable, we need to be careful
about making near-term operational decisions based on brand new
specifications that have no implementations, nevermind no operational
experience.
