I stayed the week after the Beijing meeting. The day we left was the first day
the air quality measures went off the charts for the instruments that were
being used at that time. I was disappointed by how windy it was the day we went
to the Forbidden City, but later decided that it was a really good thing
because the air quality was so much better.
