This is now fixed on the master branch, if Ken or David are happy then
it can get cherry-picked across to branch 1.7-release.
I don't have any objection, but I'm not sure what the criteria for adding
to the release branch should be. Just fix things that the broke on the
branch, or anything, or something in between?
I guess we should evaluate every fix as it comes; I am thinking bugs
that cause crashes or obvious feature regressions. So ... maybe test
suite fixes? I could see that going either way. But yeah, not the nmh
suffixes.
