The mailman users are virtual (defined via the aliases.db file) and it
is possible to do something like:
AliasedUsername "|/usr/bin/procmail -m MAILMAN='nameoflist' \
ACTION='post' /etc/procmailrcs/mailman"
or is this not what you mean by "virtual" users?
