Yes, mailguard is a "security" product. It does such wonderful things
as replace all letters with '*'s in the MTA messages so that people
can't find out what version of the MTA is actually being run. *sigh*

Ok, here is another product that doesn't like >64 byte local parts.
We now know of two. I bet there are more.
Please understand that I think that anyone rejecting email because the
local part is over 64 characters long is, at best, silly. I do,
however, think that as we are trying to develope a standard, we need
to assume the worst about the implementations in the real world and
try to be as conservative as possible with what we generate.
