Calling sendmail (and by extension Eric Allman, who's done more for the
advancement of email technology than probably any other living human) a
whore is probably not the most effective way of courting their
attention.

Tsk tsk. Don't put words in my mouth. You most certainly aren't a lot
of fun George. Regardless, my position stands, of any company, and of
ANY individual who will compromise their beliefs for some cash. Perhaps
everyone has their price perhaps not. Perhaps Sendmail took money (I
most certainly believe money has exchanged hands between Microsoft and
several individuals who partake in this list in addition to Sendmail),
perhaps not.

Understandably I'm right pissed off. We've put in a lot of work here,
in fact, *I* have put in an assload of work. Now, I don't require any
gratification other then that I learn something, and that some good
comes of it. What I do not appreciate is having my time squandered by a
billion dollar software strip mining b0rg wannabe.

You let Allman stand up on his own two feet and take issue at me if he
read and or found my remark offensive. It was intentionally written to
get response.

Cheers,

James
