You know what it looks like to me? It looks like you can't have your

I can not work with a team that does not want to be a team. I am not
alone in this. I can only do so much do bring harmony, I have failed
miserably, I see no future in this group anymore. Believe me, I have
been thinking about this long and hard. Too long really, which is part
of why i have to leave you guys to do whatever it is you want to do.

You don't just get everyone in a room and take action. You failed to
communicate sufficiently with me, and I have raised issue at this, and
instead of simply DEALING with it you walk away...

I have answered your concerns last week with 'I am really busy now'.
This was the truth. I actually have a life besides SPF you know, i have
a company, am involved in local politics and had to deal with a lot of
bad news that week (bush re-elected, muslim extremist kills critical
film maker over here) and I have been preparing a presentation about
senderid/spf and the whole marid mess for a conference about software
patents in brussels this week.

But instead of believing that I was indeed busy, you choose to conclude
that I am unwilling to communicate sufficiently with you. That says more
about you than about me.

You have been ignoring my first and most important post about the plans
to build a single authorative website for spf from day one.

You insist on having influence on the site's content, you cannot
delegate this to others. That is why it will never work. I have said
this before, if you have a saying in the content a group of other people
will turn their backs to this site.

Now is this group of people to blame (people who agree by the way to not
having influence on the site's content for the general good) or are you?
Think about this James, think about the good initiative John and I had.
Think about how you couldn't trust us in carrying out that initiative,
despite private email and irc conversations. Think about that, for once,
instead of getting all defensive automatically, rejecting everything
that threatens your ego.

Again, I wish you good luck as self-chosen leader of spf. I know you are
more important to spf than i am, and you have not left any chance to run
that in on the other list. I knew this already, that's why i am going to
give you all the space you and your ego need.
