If we accept the existing dogma that draft indicates "more stable" and
that Proposed indicates "less", then Jim shouldn't have to answer the
above question because he is operating under that dogma. That's a more
fundamental debate that should take place elsewhere (and has, to no
one's benefit).
Eliot, any of us can raise a concern. There is an infinite number of them to
choose from. Many concerns that are logical and appear reasonable actually do
not turn out to be hold true. Lest we constantly be chasing fears that lack
substance, experience is the filter to aid distinguishing among concerns.
Jim is clearly concerned about more that changing the label, even though the
label is defined to mean 'more stable'.
Absent details and examples to substantiate it, how are we to take his concern
and apply it to anything specific?
