owner-listname context. $LISTOWNER is merely a variable set WITHIN the

Basically, the original alias syntax (in sendmail) would have been:
owner-listname: listadmin(_at_)their_domain(_dot_)tld
Ah. Smartlist doesn't use the owner-listname: concept. There once a
suggestion to put something at the bottom of the rc.request file that
might accomplish something similar once.
and rewritten to be under the control of a listowner pre-filter:
owner-listname: "|/usr/local/bin/procmail -m
/etc/procmailrcs/listowner.rc
listadmin(_at_)their_domain(_dot_)tld listname"
When doing this sort of thing, does Procmail intercept the incoming
email before Sendmail has had a chance to attach the Return-Path: ?
I do have a similar pipe that sends the incoming email off to a
nice virus filter before being delivered to the respective Smartlist
but the Return-Path: is missing, infact, the Return-Path: seems to
be missing on incoming emails bound for distribution by Smartlist,
generally speaking.
Thanks,
