Ok - the problem I've got here is that PHP's DNS support won't get TXT
records, so I have to do things "the hard way" - the record there is
just the output of /usr/bin/host - which I expect to put each TXT record
on a seperate line.
Unless I know why that blank record is there, and also that 1) it will
also be blank and 2) the SPF record will always be the first one, I'm
not sure I can work around it.
On another note, I think I've tackled the issues raised on slashdot, as
well as cleaning up the bulk-parser which was throwing up extra errors.
We're now up to:
396 domains with SPF records are known.
Of these:
164 parse cleanly
1 parse with warnings
231 parse with errors
0 are yet to be checked by this system
As I've noted before, once the default=deny records are removed, I'll be
able to examine the remaining errors more closely.
