And _everyone_ who is serious about having working
SPF-enabled mailservers has to look for it.
Why that? Nobody is forced to look for anything.

This idea *MIGHT* (well, just barely) make sense if 99% of all domains
already had SPF records - then this could provide the functionality for the
remaining small percentage, without a significant overhead.
That is just not the case. Initially, when only a small percentage of
domains have SPF records, this would mean a VERY SIGNIFICANT overhead.
People are just not going to accept a http extenmsion to the protocol
in any shape or form. forget it.
