If this starts to get the message thru to big hosting companies then OK, but
Interland flatly refuse to let me add SPF records to the domains they host
for me, and I don't think 1&1 do either (to name the 2 biggest shared windows
hosting providers) - there are a lot of small domains out there who don't
control their DNS records except thru web control panels. And we don't have
sufficient weight to influence these big hosting companies. "Vote with your
feet" only works when you can go somewhere that DOES support SPF.

But when we get the first big hosting company to add "Automatic SPF support
for your domains" to their feature list, then I expect that will trigger a
flood of other hosters playing catch-up.

You'll know we're winning when the "search for a hosting service" sites like
  http://www.hostcompare.com/advancedsearch.htm
include an "SPF Support" checkbox.
