i support pgp key signing even though pgp and signed mail are not
perfect or make cash fall from the sky. one day at a time.
i am not sure how well the normal signing party will scale to the
crowd likely to be attracted at an ietf meeting. perhaps a more
distributed asynchronous protocol? though i personally get a lot
of value in seeing how rigorously alice checks bob's credentials,
and mark my trust in alice accordingly.
there are folk who are good at key signing parties/protocols, so i
will not presume to grab management of this. but if i can help,
holler.
