I disagree.

I think the way to avoid that is to modify fetchmail. Let's face it- it's a 
fetchmail fault.
Creating a workaround for something that's broken instead of fixing it, when 
fetchmail
is open-source and easily fixed?

I suggest that the way to avoid that is to make Fetchmail use the Return-Path: 
header
whenever it is available.

I modified the wiki. What version of fetchmail did you verify this in, Justin?
