I disagree.

I think the way to avoid that is to modify fetchmail. Let's face it- it's
a fetchmail fault.  Creating a workaround for something that's broken
instead of fixing it, when fetchmail is open-source and easily fixed?

Because if SpamAssassin required replacement of all "broken" pieces of
software before it could be used, we'd never be deployed anywhere? ;)
Pragmatism, in other words....

I suggest that the way to avoid that is to make Fetchmail use the
Return-Path: header whenever it is available.

I modified the wiki. What version of fetchmail did you verify this in,
Justin?
