Interesting. I would expect a reasonable telco providing DSL or T1 type
services would always set-up or be willing to delegate rDNS.
Was this not a business account initially? Was it a dynamic IP? Both are
very difficult to run a mail server off of.
This was, and still is, a business account.
I think part of the problem is that there aren't many ISPs here
(Japan) in the first place and even fewer that offer business service,
hence little competition and much laziness.
